How To Knit A Stitch Through The Back Loop (tbl)

Normally, when a stitch is knit, the stitch is entered from the front via
the front “leg” of the stitch as seen in this image.




To knit a stitch through the back loop you will enter the stitch through
the back of the stitch via the back “leg” as seen here. This makes a twisted knit stich. The standard abbreviation for this
stitch is tbl.
