Joining To Knit In The Round

After casting on the correct number of stitches
make sure that all stitches are lined up – I like to have all of the “knots” toward the inside of the circle.
You can also see that I have tied my tail yarn up so that I don’t get confused about which yarn is which. You can see
another handy tip for keeping the tail yarn out of the way on my blog. I’ve also got my stitch marker ready to go.

I’ve placed the stitch marker on the right
needle after the last stitch. Now insert the needle into the stitch on the left needle. Knit the stitch.

You’ve now successfully joined the round.
Continue knitting all stitches as directed in the pattern. The marker you placed marks the begining of the round.
That’s it!
